Directions for Use:
• For Use In Swimming Pools: Initial Dose: Use 2 kg POOLO per 1 lac litres of pool water. Maintenance Dose: Use 500gm POOLO per 1 lac litres of pool water. Maintenance dose should be added at 3 to 5 day intervals. If high temperatures prevail or pool has heavy use, add maintenance dose more frequently.
• For Use In Spas / Whirlpools / Hot Tub Baths: Initial Dose: Add 100gm per 5,000 litres of water. Maintenance Dose: Add 25 gm per 1,000 litres of water. Maintenance dose should be added at 3 to 5 day intervals, or more frequently with heavy use.
• For Use As A Pool-Side Surface Germicide: After cleaning surfaces, use 10gm per 4 litres of water for sanitizing, or 10 gm to 2 litres of water for disinfecting. Thoroughly wet all treated surfaces. At these dilutions, this product will also deodorize surfaces efficiently.

Trichloroisocyanuric Acid Granular (TCCA) is a disinfectant, algicide and bactericide mainly for swimming pools. It is also used as a bleaching agent in the textile industry. It is widely used in civil sanitation for pools and spas, preventing and curing diseases in animal husbandry and fisheries, fruit and vegetable preservation, wastewater treatment, as an algicide for recycled water in industry and air conditioning, for treating seeds and in organic chemical synthesis. Trichloroisocyanuric acid as used in swimming pools is easier to handle than chlorine. It dissolves slowly in water.

Handling :
• Keep the container closed when not in use. Store in cool, dry and well-ventilated area, away from fire and heat. Use dry, clean clothing when handling TCCA. Avoid breathing dust, and do not bring in contact with eyes or skin. Wear rubber or plastic gloves and safety glasses.

Dry Acid

Dry Acid

Dry acid is a white crystallized granular substance used to lower swimming pool water pH.
HOW TO USE DRY ACID IN POOLS & SPAS :
• Dry Acid is used to lower the pH and to maintain total alkalinity TA in swimming pools and spas. It is safer and easier to use than hydrochloric acid (muriatic).. It is easier to store but it also must be handled with care. The ideal pH of pool water should be 7.0-7.6 and total alkalinity should be maintained between 80 and 120ppm.
• Pre-dissove the dry acid first by adding the dry acid into a large plastic bucket of water and then pouring the acid solution into the deep end of the pool, away from the skimmer and the fixtures. The Acid should be added when the pump is on and running. Retest the pH of the water in 4 hours and add more acid if needed.
• Helpful Tips: Do not add more than 150g of dry acid per 10,000 litres of pool water at any one time. Never add dry acid more than 3 times per day. Do not adjust the pH without first testing the Total Alkalinity. Dry acid may be used in a spa or hot tub.

Hypochlorous Acid is a weak acid with the chemical formula HOCl. It forms when chlorine dissolves in water. It cannot be isolated in pure form due to rapid equilibration with its precursor. HOCl is an oxidizer, and as its sodium salt sodium hypochlorite, (NaClO), or its calcium salt calcium hypochlorite, (Ca(ClO)2) is usedas a bleach, a deodorant, and a disinfectant. Applications :• In water treatment, hypochlorous acid is the active sanitizer in hypochlorite-based products.• In organic synthesis, HOCl converts alkenes to chlorohydrins.• In biology, hypochlorous acid is generated in activated neutrophils by myeloperoxidase-mediated peroxidation of chloride ions, and contributes to the destruction of bacteria.• In food service and water distribution, specialized equipment to generate weak solutions of HOCl from water and salt is sometimes used to generate adequate quantities of safe (unstable) disinfectant to treat food preparation surfaces and water supplies.

Copper Sulphate (Blue Salt) is a very versatile chemical with as extensive a range of uses in industry as it has in agriculture. Its principal employment is in agriculture, and this role is described in some detail in the next section. Up to a generation or so ago about its only uses in industry were as a mordant for dyeing and for electroplating, but today it is being employed in many industrial processes. The synthetic fibre industry has found an application for it in the production of their raw material. The metal industry uses large quantities of copper sulphate as an electrolyte in copper refining, for copper coating steel wire prior to wire drawing and in various copper plating processes. The mining industry employs it as an activator in the concentration by froth flotation of lead, zinc, cobalt and gold ores. The printing trade takes it as an electrolyte in the production of electrotype and as an etching agent for process engraving. The paint industry uses it in anti-fouling paints and it plays a part in the colouring of glass. Indeed, today there is hardly an industry which does not have some small use for copper sulphate.

Sodium Dypochlorite- NaOCl is a compound that can be effectively used for water purification. It is used on a large scale for surface purification, bleaching, odor removal and water disinfection. Sodium hypochlorite is a clear, slightly yellowish solution with a characteristic odor. Sodium hypochlorite has a relative density of is 1,1 (5,5% watery solution). As a bleaching agent for domestic use it usually contains 5% sodium hypochlorite (with a pH of around 11, it is irritating). If it is more concentrated, it contains a concentration 10-15% sodium hypochlorite (with a pH of around 13, it burns and is corrosive). Sodium hypochlorite is unstable. Chlorine evaporates at a rate of 0,75 gram active chlorine per day from the solution. Then heated sodium hypochlorite disintegrates. This also happens when sodium hypochlorite comes in contact with acids, sunlight, certain metals and poisonous and corrosive gasses, including chlorine gas. Sodium hypochlorite is a strong oxidator and reacts with flammable compounds and reductors. Sodium hypochlorite solution is a weak base that is inflammable.
Application :• Sodium hypochlorite is used on a large scale. For example in agriculture, chemical industries, paint- and lime industries, food industries, glass industries, paper industries, pharmaceutical industries, synthetics industries and waste disposal industries. In the textile industry sodium hypochlorite is used to bleach textile. It is sometimes added to industrial waste water. This is done to reduce odors. Hypochlorite neutralizes sulphur hydrogen gas (SH) and ammonia (NH3). It is also used to detoxify cyanide baths in metal industries. Hypochlorite can be used to prevent algae and shellfish growth in cooling towers. In water treatment, hypochlorite is used to disinfect water. In households, hypochlorite is used frequently for the purification and disinfection of the house.
