With the addition of Poly DADMAC polymer, alum and caustic soda usage has dropped and the production of sludge has been reduced.Poly DADMAC is used as flocculant in water purification. Application and Dosage :When used alone Poly Dadmac should be diluted to the concentration of 0.5%-0.05% (based on solid content).It is adaptable to pH value between 0.5 and 1.4. The dosage is based on the turbidity and the concentration of the water. The most economical dosage is based on the trial. The dosing spot and the mixing velocity should be carefully decided to guarantee that the chemical can be mixed evenly with the other chemicals in the water and the flocs are not broken. Ideally it should be dosed continuously. 
Handling measures and precautions :Proper human safety products such as Splash goggles, lab coat, vapor respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected.
